Vytal Assets v Siemens Brightly

Vytal Assets

Siemens Brightly

Comprehensive Enterprise Solution

Vytal offers a comprehensive platform that addresses the full range of asset lifecycle management needs: facility asset, clinical asset, regulatory compliance, sustainability needs, and capital planning, allowing customers to transition to one enterprise solution and save complexity and cost of managing multiple vendors.

Vytal offers a comprehensive platform that addresses the full range of asset lifecycle management needs: facility asset, clinical asset, regulatory compliance, sustainability needs, and capital planning, allowing customers to transition to one enterprise solution and save complexity and cost of managing multiple vendors.

Built for healthcare

Vytal Assets was purpose-built for healthcare organizations.  With compliance and regulatory tightly integrated with facility asset management, and a strong clinical asset focus, Vytal has succeeded with the most complex healthcare customers.

Brightly was purpose-built for educational facilities.  They do not have a compliance and regulatory capability or a clinical asset management capability. This limits their ability to work with healthcare customers.

Speed to innovation

Vytal Assets is an independent company built from the ground up with a sole focus on real estate and asset lifecycle management. This allows the company to move quickly to innovate, ensuring that customers stay ahead of the constantly changing needs of the market.

Brightly was acquired by Siemens, a large conglomerate with a focus on many lines of business outside of real estate, which has slowed the pace of innovation in the platform.

Fast time to value

Vytal provides fast time to value with quick start implementation, training and support coupled with a prebuilt set of maintenance tasks and strategies. The approach includes recommending maintenance schedules, predicting failures, detecting issues proactively, providing alerts, and supporting corrective, condition-based, and regulatory compliance maintenance.  Vytal also offers affordable pricing built for immediate time to value.

Siemens Brightly require longer implementation times and manual set of maintenance tasks and strategies, which slow down time to market and time to value. Their pricing is also much higher, curtailing the time to value.

Modern user experience

Vytal Assets user interface was built with simplicity and time savings in mind.  The modern user experience enables facility, compliance, clinical and capital planning users manage complex workflows in an easy-to-understand manner, reducing friction and inefficiencies.

Brightly Siemens is an older, legacy product built in 1999 with high technical debt that provides a sub-optimal user experience with a higher rate of friction and subsequent inefficiencies.
